House of Representatives Speaker Femi Bajabiamila on Monday mourned the death of Nigerian comedian Babatunde Omidina.

Bajabiamila Omidina, popularly known as Baba Suwe on stage, is said to have entertained Nigerians and impressed many Nigerian houses with his comedy.

Baba Suwe pleaded with his children and family for comfort in how God used his God-given abilities to influence others’ lives.

In a statement to the media and public relations consultant Lanre Lassisi, Bajabiyamila sent a message of condolence to Omidina’s family, good luck to Ekorodu, Lagos, the Nigerian film industry and the media. Nigerians, especially many Baba Suwe supporters.

He also prayed for the rest of his life.
