Former Equatorial Guinean candidate Senator Gbenga Aluko has passed away. An Ode-Ikiti politician died on Saturday after falling from his office in Abuja.

Another source revealed that the deceased politician died of a heart attack. The late Economist was the son of Professor Sam Aluko.
Aluko ran for the presidency in 2018 at the All Progressives Congress in Ekki State. Alko, who was a popular SGA member in 1999 and 2003, was a member of the National Assembly at the People’s Democratic Party.
At the time, he represented the Ekki South constituency.
